# Welcome

**HyperVane** is a skill-based **play-to-earn arena shooter** where players earn crypto tokens based on performance, rewarding skill over playtime.

Unlike traditional P2E models that rely on inflationary rewards and unsustainable economies, HyperVane aims to **reset the standard** by approaching the problem from a community-first perspective, combining ethical web3 practices, competitive mechanics, and a robust in-game economy.\
\
Our Mission is to build the **first truly sustainable competitive shooter** while avoiding the common traps of inflationary, extractive, and unsustainable game tokenomics.

Hypervane runs and is native to the Solana($SOL) ecosystem.
