How do you actually get your money?

Now comes your favourite part: how the heck do you get your money?

The System:

The top 10% of active players* are allocated 70% of the weekly Rewards Pool. Each member then redeems their points for their share of the pool. The rest are awarded 30% of the pool.

The distribution equation for the top 10% is as follows:

(rewardsForTop10%) / (totalPointsTop10%) * [user]'s points.

The Distribution system for the rest 90% of users is as follows:

(RemainingRewards90%) / (PointsRemaining90%) * [user]'s points.

Example:

Total Points In the top 10%: 20,000. Total Points in the rest 90%: 30,000. Total Active Users: 1,000. Total Revenue: $5,000.

To find how many people are eligible for the "top 10%", we take 10% of 1,000, which is 100. And then to find the rewards pool, we take 80% of the revenue, which is $3,500.

Here's our info: 100 "top 10%" users. "Non-top 10%" users: 900. Rewards Pool: $3,500. Total Points "top 10%": 20,000. Remaining Points: 30,000. Now, let's calculate for both "top 10%" and "non-top 10%".

Top 10%

(3500*50%) / (20,000) -> 2100 / 20,000 -> 10.5 Cents / point.

Users in the top 10% can redeem each of their points for 8.8 Cents each. A user who has 500 points would be eligible to redeem their points and receive $52.5 in $SOL.

Other 90%

(3500*50%) / (30,000) -> 1400 / 30,000 -> 4.7 Cents / point.

Users who aren't in the top 10% can redeem each of their points for 5.8 Cents each. A user who has 500 points would be eligible to redeem their points and receive $23.35 in $SOL.

*Active players are defined as players who have at least 25 points per weekly cycle. Users with points less than 25 are not considered for weekly rewards. This number may change as the game grows.
